Nar Phu Valley trek is an incredible adventure to the remote and unexplored region north of Annapurna. The journey begins in Jagat, following the well-known Annapurna Circuit trail. After reaching Koto, we take a less-traveled path leading to the captivating Nar Phu Valley, situated to the north of Manang. The trail includes crossing the Kang La pass, providing breathtaking views of the Annapurna massifs. The Kang La pass connects Nar with Manang and three other Bhotia villages in the Neyshang valley. As we explore this hidden mountain valley, we encounter ancient Tibetan culture in its purest form, surrounded by stunning mountain scenery and high-altitude settlements. The trek continues westward, crossing the Thorong La Pass and descending through lower Mustang, eventually reaching Jomsom. The journey concludes with a scenic flight to Pokhara and a drive back to Kathmandu the following day.

Also available on WhatsApp. What to take. Depending on the season that you choose to travel with us, the equipment that you may have to carry during the trip may differ. If you travel during the months of April, May, September and October, it is fairly warm through the course of the trip so we would advise not to take unnecessary equipment. However, From the months of November to March, it is cold in the region so we would highly suggest you to take warmer equipment. If you choose to travel with us during the winter season for high treks we would suggest to take equipment such as good waterproof shoes, gaiters, walking polls, crampons due to snow and ice being on passes above 4,000 meters. If you choose to travel with us during the months of June, July and August, we will be having the monsoon season here in Nepal and will face constant rain during the course of the trip. However, we would highly recommend you to prepare before your arrival and stay in touch with your embassy or consulate for any issues. Please ensure that your passport is valid which requires that your passport is 6 months from validity. You will need your passport throughout the duration of the trip and please be mindful that the information that you enter should match the details of your passport. Please, ensure that you bring additional passport size photos for visa form.Money exchange Throughout the duration of the trip, many places will only accept NPR so please ensure you carry sufficient amounts of cash to cover your expenses during the trip. ATMs are only available in certain places during the trip which may take 2 to 5 percent of extra charge if you choose to withdraw money. During your stay in Kathmandu, you may choose to exchange money from bank or many of the money exchange centers available here.Spending moneyMost of the money that you carry during the trip will be spent on meals, drinks, shopping and additional things. Ensure that you look at the itinerary before the trip and plan your budget for the duration of the trip. Tipping It’s a common practice to tip service providers depending on the quality of service in Nepal.
