If you travel during the months of April, May, September and October, it is fairly warm through the course of the trip so we would advise not to take unnecessary equipment. However, From the months of November to March, it is cold in the region so we would highly suggest you to take warmer equipment. If you choose to travel with us during the winter season for high treks we would suggest to take equipment such as good waterproof shoes, gaiters, walking polls, crampons due to snow and ice being on passes above 4,000 meters. If you choose to travel with us during the months of June, July and August, we will be having the monsoon season here in Nepal and will face constant rain during the course of the trip. Please, ensure that you bring additional passport size photos for visa form.Money exchange Throughout the duration of the trip, many places will only accept NPR so please ensure you carry sufficient amounts of cash to cover your expenses during the trip. ATMs are only available in certain places during the trip which may take 2 to 5 percent of extra charge if you choose to withdraw money. During your stay in Kathmandu, you may choose to exchange money from bank or many of the money exchange centers available here.Spending moneyMost of the money that you carry during the trip will be spent on meals, drinks, shopping and additional things.
