Chulu far East Peak is another prominent
mountain located in the Annapurna region of Nepal. Standing at an elevation of
6,429 meters, it is a popular destination for climbers and trekkers. There are
several Chulu peaks (Chulu Center 6,584m. Chulu west 6,419m. Chulu East
6,429m.) so this is the program of Chulu far East 6,059m.
Location: Chulu Far East Peak is situated in the Manang Himal
range of the Annapurna region, close to Chulu East Peak.
Elevation: The peak stands at an elevation of approximately
6,059 meters (19,879 feet).
Climbing Route: The ascent usually starts from the village of Pisang
or Ngawal, passing through Chulu Far East Base Camp. The climbing route
involves moderate technical difficulty, making it suitable for climbers with
some mountaineering experience.
Difficulty: Chulu Far East Peak is classified as a trekking peak
by the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA). While less technical than some
higher peaks, it still requires good physical fitness and basic mountaineering
skills, such as using ice axes, crampons, and ropes.
Scenic Views: From the summit, climbers are rewarded with
spectacular views of the Annapurna range, including Annapurna II, III, IV,
Gangapurna, Manaslu, and the surrounding Himalayan landscape.
Permits: Climbing Chulu Far East Peak requires a permit from
the NMA. Most climbers organize their expeditions through trekking agencies
that handle logistics, including permits, guides, and equipment.
Best Time to Climb: The best seasons for climbing Chulu Far East Peak
are the pre-monsoon (spring) months of April to May and the post-monsoon
(autumn) months of September to November. These periods provide the most stable
weather conditions and clear skies.
Chulu Far East Peak offers a less crowded
alternative to some of the more popular peaks in the region, providing a
rewarding challenge with stunning views for trekkers and climbers.

on the season that you choose to travel with us, the equipment that you may

suggest you to take warmer equipment. If you choose to travel with us during
the winter season for high treks we would suggest to take equipment such as

It’s a common practice to tip service
providers depending on the quality of service in Nepal. While tipping isn’t
mandatory, it’s a way of expressing satisfaction with the services provided to
you during your trip. Even if you’re not used to tipping, please note that it
holds important value for those who serve you during your travels.
Throughout your trip, there will be multiple
opportunities to tip local guides or drivers. You can choose to tip individually,
or can choose to collectively tip the staff members. The suggested tip for
drivers is USD 1 to 2 per person per day based on the service’s quality and
duration. For porters during the trekking part of your trip, we would recommend
to tip USD 4-6 by per person per day. For the assistant guide, we would
recommend to tip USD 3-4 by per person per day. For climbing guide, we would
recommend USD 5 by per person per day.
At the end of each trip, if you believe your
assigned guide during the trip has done an exceptional job, a tip would be
appreciated. The amount is entirely up to you, but as a guideline, we would
recommend that you tip USD 4-5 by per person per day.
Local
Dress
In Asia, the dress code tends to be more conservative
compared to that of Western countries. Therefore, when packing, it's advisable
to choose loose, lightweight, and long clothing that will help you stay cool,
especially in the hot and humid climate typical of Asian summers. When visiting
predominantly Buddhist or Hindu, countries, it's important to dress
respectfully and refrain from wearing very short shorts/skirts and
singlets/tank tops, particularly when visiting temples, monasteries or other
holy sites.
